Cristina Branco returns to Theatro Circo to present her 18th album of originals, Mãe. In this new record, the singer pays a heartfelt tribute to the most emblematic musical genre in Portuguese culture, fado. In this unique musical creation, Cristina Branco lends her unique voice to a variety of authors, such as Fernando Pessoa, David Mourão-Ferreira, Aldina Duarte, Manuela de Freitas, Natália Correia and Teresinha Landeiro. On record and live, Mãe offers audiences an original repertoire that takes us on an engaging journey of rediscovering fado, exploring its emotional depths and nuances.
The artist will be accompanied by José Manuel Neto on Portuguese guitar, Luís Figueiredo on piano and Bernardo Moreira on double bass.
